Weight loss
The relationship between food, drink and exercise has less to do with the fact of being hungry, recognizing when we are full or the lack of exercise we do, but instead is more often than not an indication of other aspects of our lives. Even though we may not consider ourselves to have issues connected to these areas, a number of physical and emotional factors in our life style can often result in problems around eating and weight gain/loss, for example:

Whilst dieting helps weight loss in the short term, the results are unsustainable and the weight inevitably creeps back on. This is because dieting does not - and cannot - address the underlying subconscious impulse completely.
I like to think of it as a tree. If you are a tree and all the branches on that tree are issues or negative things you are struggling with in life, then by dealing with the surface issues (i.e.by cutting off the branches) you will never get to the root and the branches will grow back eventually. But by dealing with the root of the issue (the root of the tree) the other branches will die off eventually, thus feeling a sense of freeness.
Can hypnosis help?
Hypnosis will alter your state of mind so that it is more susceptible to suggestions. It changes the way we think about food, not just at the conscious level, but also at the subconscious level. As a
fully trained Hypnotherapist I will work through the following:

These insights allow me to help you to move forward by developing new habits and beliefs, and equipping you with the strategies and mindset that will help you let go of the bad habits and false beliefs that have made it so difficult for you to manage your weight successfully in the past.
Changing old habits
If you form a habit and do something enough times, it will soon feel ‘normal’. So for example, if you are in the habit of having a cigarette after your food, and you do this whenever you have something to eat, if you do this for 10 years, it then becomes the ‘Norm’. It’s not only the fact that you are addicted to smoking, but your mind has learned this habit and now expects it. It would be strange and would feel out of place when you have not carried out this habit.
How does hypnosis help you lose weight?
Hypnotherapy can get down to why the habits were formed in the first place and why you feel you eat even though you want to stop. Once the reasons behind this have been understood, the rest becomes a simpler task and it is easier to remove the cravings and take control again.
By tapping into our subconscious mind through hypnosis, we can create new eating patterns. All that’s asked of you is that you have to want to control your weight, as hypnosis has a higher success rate when it is done with the willingness of the person who wants to control their weight.
Using Hypnotherapy for weight loss would normally be at least 2+ sessions, but this will depend on the nature of the issue.
